England Boat Angling Squad Seeks New Blood

England Boat Angling Squad Seeks New Blood
The Angling Trust has started its search for anglers to join Team England World Championships and Home Nations Boat squads.
This is an opportunity for knowledgeable club anglers or those with open competition experience to work alongside the current managers and team members to learn about international angling.
Team England are the reigning World Champions after taking gold in Weymouth in September 2014 and silver in Ireland during the SALC Home Nations Boat International in 2014. This initiative aims to increase the size of the talent pool from which teams are selected and demonstrates the ambition for continual improvement and success.
Any anglers interested in getting involved should contact the Angling Trust’s Competitions & Events Manager Sandra Drew on 01159 061301, or visit the website and download an application form. Closing dates for applications is 30th August with squad sessions to be held later in the year.
Applications can be found at www.anglingtrust.net/teamenglandsea
